Another birthday goes by. Lots of time for reflection. Should I make a new website? Make it easier to navigate and post than this one? Let's see if I have the time to do it.

So how do you like the new Toronto Maple Leafs? With Brian Burke as GM, a lot of changes have happened over the off-season. The Leafs are definitely tougher and now with the addition of Phil Kessel, are better offensively. I think with the Leafs getting tougher, it makes it easier for some of the skilled players like Grabovski and Kulemin may get better. Was it worth the 2 first-rounders and 1 second-rounder. Only time will tell. People have already said it's back to the old days when the Leafs would give away first-round draft picks to pick up superstars. Well, Kessel is only 21 so it's a good deal better than most of the previous deals (Nolan, Leetch, etc). I thought the Leafs were entertaining to watch last year so this year they should be even more so. If Toskala does well this year, Burke's goal of reaching the playoffs might not be that far off. Go Leafs Go!

Whew, what a whirlwind it's been over the last three weeks. Work was crazy which made doing things at home crazy since I stayed late a lot. Then there was the free U2 concert and trying to clean up my comic books. Man, it's been a quick 3 weeks.

This weekend was a great food weekend though. Had sushi lunch buffet at Syogun with Geoff, Larry, Dave and Jenn. We had a 25% off coupon (from the 2009 Entertainment Book) and it was so worth the deal. No sashimi but the other food was just awesome. It's not the first time I've gone to Syogun but it was for the guys and they liked the food so it was all good. Later that night, we had dinner at my parents and my mom made Hainang Chicken rice. SOOO GOOOD! This was my favourite dish when I was young. I used to eat a huge plate of rice along with almost half a chicken. Didn't eat that much this time around but still enough to fill my belly!

On Sunday, we headed over to Jenn's parents where I had homemade dumplings! Jenn's parents make the best dumplings I've ever had. I'm so food-spoiled nowadays between the two sets of parents. It's awesome. No complaints here.
