Hobbies - Cards - Non-sport Cards

My first non-sport cards were the Impel Marvel Series 1 cards. While my friends were collecting Upper Deck hockey, I was buying packs from the card store across the street. I have a few friends buying them too and we would trade to complete the set. The holograms were difficult to get but it was always exciting to find one in a pack. Presently, I hardly buy packs anymore (too expensive) as I have moved on to boxes of cards. I still love opening up the packs though.

My non-sport collection was halted for a few years while I concentrated primarily on comic books, but lately I've been picking up more and more cards. There are definitely more inserts in a box as the hobby has introduced autographs, pieceworks and high-quality subsets. I really think it's a great hobby not only for adults but for kids as well. In this section I'll be listing the sets that I own or wnat to own and provide some checklists as well.
