Finally! A new classic set (well, seen in the redone Episode IV). Missile launches and preliminary reviews are good for this set!

Star Wars LEGO

Hobbies >> Star Wars >> Star Wars LEGO

When LEGO stopped the Space line I was truly disappointed. I pretty much stopped collecting LEGO. When LEGO announced the Star Wars line, I went absolutely bonkers! In this section I just want to showcase the various sets that have been released and also keep a track of the different mini-figs that have been released. I love the mini-figures and I buy sets just to get them.

Sets by Year

Year 1

1999 - Year One

The first year of Star Wars LEGO. 13 sets were released, not including the Droid Developer Kit.

Year 2

2000 - Year Two

18 regular sets were released. The Ultimate Collector Series debuts.

Year 3

2001 - Year Three

Ten sets this year. The UCS Rebel Blockade Runner is released and it's simply amazing!

Year 4

2002 - Year Four

27 sets released to coincide with Episode II. Mini sets are introduced and my mini-fig builder set(7200) is released!

Year 5

2003 - Year Five

15 sets this year. The AT-AT is awesome and the UCS Cloud City features the first black mini-fig Lando Calrissian

Year 6

2004 - Year Six

11 sets are released. Pretty slow year with some re-releases. Although the Millennium Falcon is a welcomed re-release.

Year 7

2005 - Year Seven

17 sets are released as Episode III comes out. Most of the sets are from Episode III. Imperial Inspection is a great mini-fig set.

Year 8

2006 - Year Eight

11 sets are so far so far been released. Some great new versions of old sets and the regular Star Destroyer is amazing.

Year 9

2007 - Year Nine

16 sets are released to help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars. There's even a gold-plated C3P0 contest.

Year 10

2008 - Year Ten

New battle packs from Star Wars Classic and "The Force Unleashed" products.

Year 11

2009 - Year Eleven

The 10th Anniversary (yeah, 10 not 11) of Star Wars LEGO. Lots and lots of sets.
