"There's too many of them!" - Gray Squadron 2
Star Wars LEGO - 2001 - Year Three
Definitely a quieter year with only 10 releases. This was a Classic year with 7 Classic releases and 3 Episode I released. Finally the introduction of the Stormtrooper minifig and the UCS line is kicked up a notch with the 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner.

A fairly simple set that allows you to get some cheap robot minifigs. If you wanted, you could pain C-3P0 into other colours to make more units from the movies.

The easiest way to build your Battle Droid armies. I was very tempted to buy tons of these.

The AT-ST was flimsy but it was an affordable set. If they added more pieces and charged another ten bucks I still would have bought this..

Imperial Royal Guards! I want MORE of them. The set itself is pretty good too. The pilot minifig was a surprise.

Another Pod Racer. There are some cool alien minifigs but the price of the set drove me away.

C-3P0 looks scary in this set. The gold pieces do look appealing though.

I never understood why LEGO would release a bust of Darth Maul. It looks neat but I wouldn't want to spend 200 bucks on a head.

I was lucky. A friend of mine picked this up half price for me. It took over 5 hours to build but it's a beautiful set. A little flimsy at times.
