Cytoplasmic Writings
Here is where you get to read about my wonderfully boring-ass life. I pretty much complain about everything and make really stupid observations. Enjoy.

So...my birthday was pretty recent and now I'm a year older. It's amazing when you look at the people younger than me and some of the things they've accomplished and then compare it to the things I've accomplished. Hunh. It's also interesting to see how these younger folks act and react, especially at work. I've always been a fairly conservative guy and I've notice that more and more of the new generation of workers are more outgoing and seemingly aggressive. Not smart aggressive, but really just stupid aggressive. Oh well, they'll learn from their mistakes I guess.
The Leafs are off to a great start, losing two in a row. The opening night being an overtime goal with 12 seconds left. A one-sided affair with the Capitals last Saturday showed all the minor and major things wrong with the team. It's so early in the season that I'm not going to make any judgement calls. Well, I lied, the only judgement I want to make is that the stupid Toronto media are a bunch of idiots. There are cries now to replace Toskala with the new phenom after two bad starts by Toskala. It's like the Leafs are hopeless. The media even comment that Toronto has so much pressure and then continue to add the pressure on. That's what I don't get. You see it with all the sports teams in Toronto. The Blue Jays, the Leafs, the Raptors, Toronto FC, the Argos. The media is always commenting on how things should be done. Did someone forget to tell them that we're not New York? We're Toronto...a city that convinces itself that it is on par with great cities like New York, Tokyo, London, Paris, Chicago...we're not. Christ, it's a city where city councillors would rather waste time arguing about 53 dollars as a rebate (which would cost how many millions to actually give out?) or to use the money next year. This city has a bunch of selfish idiots running it, no wonder nobody takes Toronto seriously.
Bah, I'm just venting and the above probably didn't make much sense. It just really irks me on how crappy our municipal leaders are right now. It's a shame cuz Toronto could be great...if it weren't so mundance.
